His pediatrician said that Lucas is not doing great but "excellent". At the 2 mos appointment, he was at 5th percentile in weight. At this month's appointment he gained some ground -- he is now 30th percentile in length and 20th percentile in weight!
The doc said most babies normalize at this time in growth but Lucas is surpassing that and continues to grow while crossing curves.
He had his 4 mos immunization shots -- 1 oral and 4 shots. He was much braver than his Mom! He got 2 shots on each leg simultaneously for a total of 4 shots -- Mom could not even look while they gave him the shots. Lucas cried for a few minutes but afterwards he was fine. What a trooper!
Lucas is a happy baby. He is always smiling, laughing and babbling to anyone that listens. He says "enya" a lot. He coos a lot and it is like music to our ears.
He squeals with delight when he sees himself in the mirror. I don't think he quite recognizes that is him yet. But what he sees, he likes. :)
