Today is another milestone. We started Lucas in preschool.
It was time. He needs to be challenged and be around more kids his age. Preschool will be very good for him.
He will be there the full day and will be learning Cantonese and Mandarin. Their days are very structured with both free play and learning.
We dropped off Lucas at school at 8am today. We stayed for a bit around 20 mins. We showed him his cubbyhole, to put his jacket in. Then we said goodbye and explained we were going to work and would be back later to pick him up.
He started saying Mama (which he does when he's being extra affectionate) but the teacher distracted him.
I started crying then. :'(. On our way out, we peered through the window. He seemed fine while the teacher showed him some activities.
I hope he had a great first day and is having lots of fun right now.
