Party

we went to keira's 5th bday party on sun. it was held in one of those indoor padded gyms where kids could tumble, climb, jump without getting hurt.

lucas enjoyed the facility after he warmed up to it. he liked swinging from the rings and then jump off. he also liked walking the balance beam and jumping off it at the end.

after the play time, all the kids ate. we had pizza, fruits, salad, chicken wings, meatballs, ice cream cake, cupcake.

lucas liked the fruits and of course the ice cream cake. he even brought home a favor bag and a red balloon.

i asked him on the way home if he had fun, and he said "YES!". :)

these pictures strike me as lucas looking "independent".... i guess because he is sitting at the kids table, with other kids, eating by himself, and detached from me and will.

everyday, he is growing up and asserting his independence. he is not a baby anymore! :(
