We picked up Lucas from daycare yesterday.
Natasha, his daycare provider since he was 4.5 months, told us the kids (they are all about same age - 2yrs) are starting to do some arts/ pasting shapes onto paper.
She showed us a couple of Lucas "arts"... very cute! they are different colored shapes pasted onto paper to form an animal.
Natasha said that Lucas was "stubborn". Oh dear. We asked in what way? She said, when he is in good mood he'll happily play along and do the craft. But when he doesn't want to do it, he'll say NO, which is what we've been experiencing with him lately.
I just had to laugh when Natasha said he was stubborn. I can see it, definitely, but I would use the word "headstrong". He has very strong opinions of what he likes/dont like. If he doesn't like it, you can't convince him otherwise. It could be also part of his age, as they try to assert their independence.
It would be interesting to see how his personality develops over the years and if this headstrong phase will remain a part of it....
