36w4d

It's our 36th week. It's hard for me to believe we are nearing the end of the pregnancy. It just seemed like yesterday we were only in the 1st trimester.

Our nursery is complete and ready for the darling peanut's debut. Crib - check; dresser/changing table - check; clothes - check; bath supplies - check; diapers - check; car seat/ stroller - check.

We are *VERY* excited to meet our baby, however, I still do not feel prepared for his arrival. Even after months of reading about parenting, babies, etc, how does one feel prepared about caring for a newborn fragile life for the first time?

People say you'll know what to do once the baby arrives.... it's all instincts. I hope so. :) We are fortunate to have our family nearby to lend us a hand.

Just came from the doctor today and she said that I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced! She said that it's good as my cervix is progressing -- the labor process has begun and heading in the right direction.

Only 24 more days to go before the estimate due date of Feb 17! :)
